This article is not going to necessarily be educational but I do feel it may clear up what my intentions are when I use specific vocabulary. I would like to make a clarification on a word I use pretty liberally in my blog articles. That word is "Diet". When I am referring to diet I am not referencing the ever popular fad diets like south beach, atkins, or weight watchers. When I mention diet I mean dietary lifestyle consumption. Basically whatever is being consumed is what your "diet" consists of. This is not temporary fix but is instead something that is consistent throughout a persons life. I hope this helps those that are new to nutrition and were confused by mention of diet and exercise.
